Friday, I was honored to go to school with Katie Ann for Grandparent's Day. She had interviewed me days before and did an oral report.Katie Ann wore my high school cheerleading sweater to school and wore her hair in two ponytails just like I used to wear. Many kids brought cookies and goodies to share.
After all the presentations, we went to lunch. We each brought our own lunches. Katie Ann showed her hula hooping skills with six, yes, six hula hoops at once. I tried just one, but could only do it for a few seconds.
After lunch we went to chapel for a program put on my Mr. Cushings, students and a guest speaker.
It was a fun, memorable day. I look forward to next year!

that is so sweet!!! I love that you spend time with each kid one on one. I know how much that means to the kids and blesses them with wonderful memories.
